This was a hike I did with my father. I really enjoyed this one, you can get the train back from Berkhamsted to Hemel Hempstead or catch the bus back. I found it a great winters day hike.

We parked on a residential street in Boxmoor, but there are several car parks in Hemel Hempstead.

We stopped off at the Three Horseshoes pub, a great looking pub (from the outside and the interior is also great).
