Chorleywood to Gerrards Cross hike !

Rating: 2.7 / 5

Distance: 10 miles

A nice 10 mile hike from Chorleywood to Gerrards Cross. I had great weather this day. It wasn't my favourite hike hence the reasonably low rating but one that I can start from my house. As I reside in Chorleywood.

There were some points of interest along the route. Including: Chalfont St Giles's Church, Golders Green Common in Chalfont St Peters and Gerrards Cross common that was worth visiting.

For a part of this journey I was hiking on the South Bucks way. From north of Chalfont St Giles down to Chalfont St Peters. However please note in the winter this route can get flooded.

There is a railway station in Chorleywood and one in Gerrards Cross making this a hike that is possible for Londoners to do via public transport. You can also get a bus from Gerrards Cross to Little Chalfont then the train back to Chorleywood.

After this hike (actually a few years later) I decided to hike from Gerrards Cross to Black Park & Langley Park. I have combined the two hikes into one video, which I think came out nicely. I have shared it below.
