Otford to Enysford - via the North Downs & Darent Valley path!

Rating: 4.4 / 5

Distance: 10 miles

A cracking hike that went along the Darent Valley Path & the North Downs. There was even a bit of snow on this walk, and it was the nice of the sun to come out for this hike :)

This is a linear hike (my favourite type of hike). We parked at Otford Railway Station then catched the train back from Enysford at the end of the hike (back to Otford).

This was my first hike in Kent. I am trying to explore more hikes further a field from Hertfordshire (the county I live in.) I have more hikes planned in Kent.

Otford was a really picturesque village. I liked seeing Otford Palace & Shoreham. Lullingstone House and Gatehouse was another highlight (unfortunately is was closed for the winter season but I still able to get a few photographs).

Eynsford Viaduct and the ford at Enysford were also great to see. There were also lots of great views from the Darent Valley slopes.
